Any updates on your results! Don't give up!
After months and months of running 3 1/4 to a 1/2 miles 3 times a week, I suddenly
had under foot pain on one side (foot)
I had to stop not to limp walking. Then I had to move which was a 3 week drag of heavy lifting, but the foot pain went away.
After 2 months of not running, I did fine, except my calf muscles were sore for 2 days.
I had to moderate. I'm starting over at about 3/4ths mile to a mile, and will gradually work up. My speed is fine for a 57 year old!
I hope this might encourage someone!
