maybe improve upon it a tad but I would
new chinese 110cc gokart/mini quad motors have a reverse and 5 gears with auto clutch.
but. going say 60 in that would be questionable hehehee
dont see something like that being road legal in the states though. but if it was. then gokarts should be daily drivers.
