By running AC off an electric compressor, you will likely hurt fuel efficiency due to losses in converting mechanical energy to electric and back to mechanical to operate the compressor. The reason why electric conversion of some accessories can save fuel is either due to offline battery charging, and not using your alternator, or in the case of electric fans and water pumps, you can run them either periodically when needed or at an optimal speed not dependent on engine rpm.
