Eddy Current Generator

A friend sent me this video, he's into cool unique stuff that costs 20 times more than it should because it's cool and unique....me, not so much. Call me El Cheapo. That aside, I do hope I'm not violating any Forum rules by posting this, If so...Please delete it immediately and know that I put this up here for the informational purpose of the concept only. I have no interest in this venture whatsoever, I'm just surprised you can generate electricity in this manner.

It appears that the aluminum rim of the bicycle passing alongside the generator end of this light produces enough current to run the light. This is NOT free energy, it is noted that there is a drag created by this effect, but it makes me wonder if this couldn't be applied elsewhere on say....the wheels of cars?? Perhaps.

I have not done any research on its efficiency so I know nothing about this other than it appears to work.

Take a look, I hope it sparks a discussion. (realized the unintended pun in final editing)
