I like reading how well you guys are doing on your bikes. Lot of great ideas with deflectors and small aero mods that don't take away from the experience or look. It all makes me want to follow suit with something I consider a toy and not really practical in my location due to traffic. I don't do the long haul trips just short runs here and there.

Now I have been considering going from a 28 tooth front sprocket on my bike up to a 32 tooth in hopes of getting the Harley into the 70mpg range. it shows a 10mph. difference on the speedo @70mph(easily re calibrated). with this swap easy change and cheap for the sprocket about $100 only issue I have I lose some of the fun factor. But I think it may be good for me to keep the front wheel on the ground. A few guys have figured a 28 to 29 tooth swap is 3.5% and a 28 to 30 is 7% with this I would hope that a 28 to 32 would give me 10% difference darn close to 70mph.

They run windshields and bags and junk like that I run tucked low with shortened low rise bars plus most of the guys I have been following have 50+ lbs. on me so I have that advantage as well. I think I will hold off until I pick up a TC88 so I can reprogram speedo, data log, change limiter, and a bunch of other cool stuff but that is a little pricey right now at $300 making this easy mod more of an investment. looking forward to seeing improvements
