Got a good idea of my cold start penalty today

Today when i had just parked my car after driving home i noticed that i had forgotten my phone at work. Oh well, no choice but to go get it... But i had a chance to see what mileage i would get starting out with a warmed up engine.

On the regular trip i got:
0.64L there over 9.2km giving 6.96L/100km or 33.8MPG
0.69L back over 9.2km giving 7.50L/100km or 31.4MPG

round trip 7.23L/100km or 32.5MPG

On the extra trip that was started with a warm engine i got:
(Imagine a little drum roll here!)
0.36L there giving 3.91L/100km or 60.1MPG!
0.47L back giving 5.11L/100km or 46.0MPG

round trip 4.51L/100km or 52.1MPG

Morning temps about 0⁰C, and 3⁰C on the day for trips 2,3,4.
