1/2 " EMT is pretty cheap. Even if I cut it up a little, it would be a long box

I wonder If I just built the "intersections" then a person could cut straight pieces to match their bed size? I guess the only angle that would change would be the down bar to top of tailgate, and I could make that adjustable.
