I saw this idea: "TIGERS (Turbogenerator Integrated Gas Energy Recovery System) . Sorry I can't post links yet. It's from controlled power technologies.

My question is, wouldn't the increased resistance in exhaust gas flow also increase the fuel consumption? Any load, be it electric or mechanic, I put on the motor will decrease fuel efficiency as far as I understand.

6kW out of nothing (moving exaust gas) seems incredibly high to me.
