i found this chip, for doing PFC on things like chargers

Digi-Key - LT1249CN8#PBF-ND (Manufacturer - LT1249CN8#PBF)

thought i would share it. it looks really simple to use. i'll let you know how it goes, i'm planning to use it in my charger
