Middle of the road seems reasonable to me. Compare that to these people. They believe the universe is better off without the human species!

Every resource in the universe will eventually be consumed, so why not enjoy it while we can? I'm certainly not an advocate for "waste" or gluttony and believe conservation is important, but ultimately nothing is sustainable, and nothing matters in the end. That is of course, unless you believe in existence beyond this universe.
