I know this is an old thread but I am having the problem with an inaccurate jumpy speedometer. I spliced into the V.S.S. near the ecu and I think that May be a problem. some of the wires are most likely cut. could I solder that? or try a but joint splice ? I hate dealing with reinstalling that ecu.
