The adjusters on the early crx's only give about a 1-1.5" total adjustment. I'd guess yours are about in the middle, so it won't reduce the front height by much. I've reduced mine to the lowest safe point. Not a big difference IMO, but it looks a bit better with less front gap. The rear can be lowered with a spring cut, but due to the panhard bar your rear axle won't be centered without an adjustable panhard rod, costing about $120 or you could make your own with rod ends.

The way to really slam the 84-87 cars is to re-index the torsion bars. I wouldn't do it without swapping for stiffer bars due to the very short travel you'd end up with. You would be bottoming out over most potholes.

I'd be more inclined to improve aero with a rear diffuser or tail extension or even rear wheel arch covers.
