^^ i'm pretty sure no it wouldn't. audio guys like the thickest gauge cables with the most wires inside because there is more surface area. and if one wire goes bad, the cable is still ok. And with r/c car motors, the lower the windings the the faster it can spin to max speed, and more windings is usually more torque
