Whatever is cheapest is right.
The country we live in believes that the KeystoneXL pipeline is about jobs and energy indepedence . . not the fact that the majors have enlarged/modified the refineries at Port Arthur to sell the resulting product overseas.
Life in Nigeria and Ecuador = what it will be like here socially & politically as time goes further on. It ain't gonna be pretty. The cost won't be borne by producers nor offset in other ways.
We drill till we die, baby. The U.S. ain't exempt from history or larger trends.
Today's low cost is meaningless long-term. It's access and affordabilily. Do what's cheapest.
