4-14-2012 Solar v2

I relocated the solar panel and controller. The output of the panel inside the car just wasn't cutting it. I decided to mount the panel on the hood for a few reasons.

* Easy mounting
* If I messed up the mounting points, I could easily repair them.
* I am HOPING that this will cause a lesser negative effect on aerodynamics.

I need to find or build a hood deflector. Time will tell how badly this will effect (if any) my fuel economy.

I just drilled 4 holes to mount the panel to the hood. I decided to go ahead and sand and rolled bed liner on the hood because the clear coat was peeling bad. It looks, well, umm, interesting. :

I mounted the controller on the driver side, under the dash.
