My first car was a Mark 8 (above) with that same motor. Got about 30 mpg highway, 20 around town. That was me driving like a 17 year old as well. Had 225k miles on it and had never been maintained. Definitely a Tuesday car. From the factory, it had air suspension that lowered it above a certain speed. Not sure if the town cars have that feature or not.
