Without getting too far off topic, keep in mind that some mods affect diesels & gassers differently. WAI/CAI is a good example.

The primary way that a WAI heps a gasser is due to the fact that the warmer air forces the throttle further open to get back to the same AFR, thereby reducing the throttling losses. Diesels, on the other hand do not have a throttle and do no run at constant AFR.
