Got that right!
I'd considered using cable and turnbuckle... and that may be something I do try, eventually, as this system lacks much seat height adjustability, and that would be lighter- as if weight on this iron pig is a concern!
Lack of adjustability hasn't been an issue though- nobody else rides my bikes. Heck, I don't even lock them up, I figure I could pick my bike or any potential thieves (tall enough to ride it) out of the crowd easily enough.
P.S. I figured if I did need adjustments, I'd add a separate clamp to the post.
