I am looking for a Surfboard, have been for a while, been waiting to run into one I can afford, when I can afford it.
$100 for someones old beginners board is what i am hoping for.
Beginners boards are usually over 8 ft in length, and have a pretty good aerodynamic profile, about 3 " thick and more rounded then traditional boards. They float and ride way easier as a consequence.
I was thinking it would be best to mount a board flat on the roof of the car laying on a 1/4 " foam pad, a strap around the board a few times then with the strap flat against the roof put it over the front door seals , for the rear, strapped it to the rear hatch or what have you.
On a side note if i was to mount a board sideways on my car I may run the danger of becoming airborne
