I usually fill both at the same time. If you want to see LPG only consumption, you've got to fill up when hot, so you can switch straight to LPG after start-up... Then you fill up again at the end of the trip.
Be warned... Temperature differences between night and day can affect your LPG fill cut-off... as tank pressure will naturally be higher when the outside temperature is higher.
