From the
testing I did I got a 7% improvement in fuel consumption @ 70km/h and 8% @ 100km/h for the following:
- removed roof rails
- lower grille opening totally covered
- Kammback
- rear wheel skirts
- folded passenger side mirror
I also did
coastdown tests and chrunching the numbers implied a Cd reduction of only ~3%, from 0.334 to 0.324. The test conditions were not ideal, but I haven't been able to find better conditions since then.
