I may have contributed to an incident today. I was driving along at 60 mph in a 70 zone. Traffic was moving nicely without any vehicles piling up behind me. When someone caught up to me there was almost always an easy transition to the fast lane for passing. I noticed two vehicles that appeared to be side by side. One of which, the Malibu, in my lane didn't slow down as he/she gained on me. I was wondering what their intentions were. Then the Malibu started to merge into the passing lane. The vehicle in the passing lane was some type of specialty work van. It was about the size of the little Scion van. Anyway, the Malibu merged right into the side of the van. Both vehicles stayed under control. The Malibu slowed down and the van kept right on going. To my knowledge they never did pull over. While I was the one being overtaken, the Malibu hit a van that was either dead-even or slightly ahead of it. Really careless driver...
