Hello everyone, First off, I would just like to say how much I enjoy this site, and the help I have received just reading all the info on here. I have recently purchased my first fuel sipping car, and so far I couldn't be happier with it. Learning to drive stick was a fun little challenge, and I believe I am now a better driver, having acquired this new skill. I will post updates as I pursue my goals in both style and fuel efficiency. So far I have managed a 1000km tank, and I do plan on getting a Scangauge to more accurately monitor my efforts. I am always open to any suggestions anyone has to further increase my TDI mileage (although I haven't found much so far). Future mods may include a 0.622 5th gear swap, a Snow MPG Max Water/Methanol injection kit, new lightweight and stylish rims and a badgeless front grille with air blocks behind.
