44mpg on a mixed bag, mostly motorway work but also around town. Compared to 40mpg (motorway) best mpg with this motor, is def. improvement. Best ever mpg in this chassis with the previous engine, at 43mpg (1.8l, standard golf gti), is getting close.
Looking forward to results with hot air intake. EFI ftw!
