I've been lurking for a while, after picking up a 91 Metro 'vert automatic 2 Months ago. Just picking up on a few tips here has taken me from 32 MPG (first tank) to 40!

I have a 80 mile R/T commute, that is about 50% stop & go on the 405 in LA. Getting 40MPG on this commute with an automatic just makes me grin....
