Aside from the all-steel frame, no... not really. Yes, that is a bit hefty, but that is fully dressed with fluids and everything, not the "dry" weight many manufacturers quote. Its cousin, the Rebel 250 is about 320-330 lbs if memory serves, and that bike feels heavier.

Reportedly, switching to a different exhaust can save you 10-15 lbs or so, maybe more if carbon.
