My friend bought a 2011 civic coupe and complains all the time that he cannot get anywhere near the advertised mpg: He is the worst driver ever! Lead foot from a stop, and cannot forget the last second mash of the break peddle to keep from getting into an accident. I understand why some people question the owners because I see how the average person drives around town.
