Finished touching up and buffing out the car today.
Yeah, I know no one will be impressed with an old bone stock Metro, but I'm really proud of what I made out of a $200 rust bucket. It's still riding on the Michelin X-Ice winter tires that came with it and I didn't even have time to check the toe in.
I'd like to thank Jeff for planning this event again this year, because it is the sole reason I bought this car. It has provided me with the motivation to save this car from the crusher.
For me this weekend will be all about camaraderie and the fun of participation. I plan to have this car
a lot better prepped for competition at the Tri State Fuel Economy Run [the date hasn't been announced yet] later this summer.
