26 to 32 mpg at 270 a week is only going to save about $7 a week. 14 weeks payback for tags alone. 100 weeks for all repairs. I'd stick with the Lumina for a while longer.
Step up to a 40 mpg car when you can afford one. 26 to 40 will save about $12.50 a week or $50 a month
If it not tagged is there insurance on it?
