Ya I did actually talk to someone about why they weren't allowed to be sold in the USA, not brand new anyway. I think for the most part Canadian emissions standards will be close the Fed standards. But lots of other things can get tricky. A few years ago a lot of people were buying newer Corvettes in the States and bringing them up here. Did you know that Corvettes have different bumpers between Canada and the US? Well neither did a lot of the people that bought them - so when it came time to register them up here they had to get "Canadian Crash Standard" bumpers put on their cars. That get's expensive real quick as you can imagine!
