you say you have a manual trans? if you're interested in a more complicated way of driving city, you could add a kill switch. this will allow your computers to all stay on and record mileage but not use fuel, best place to do something like that is slowing down to a light from a long distance, you know you have to slow down quite a bit so theres no need to keep using fuel. just push the kill button to cut the injectors, when you want to start the car again just bump start it with the clutch.
