If your monitor works well enough when it is in direct sunshine and hot, then you'll be fine. It might be cooler and have less glare if the monitor was up at the top of the 'A' pillar, out of the sun.
I like your camera -- is it sealed or could the camera be rotated 90 degrees within the housing?
