*when Kamei introduced their rear spoiler for the BMW(circa 1982) they pushed the trunk rear edge back such that a line down from the rear roof edge followed a 23-degree angle.A little steeper than 'Template' as per Buchheim's research.
*On the 911 Porsche RS America, they pushed back, with a small 'kicker' at the rear edge such that up to the roofline,it created a 13-degree angle,a little short of the 'Template' for where they were on the car.
*Lotus pushed their spoiler for the Esprit TURBO all the way to the 'Template.'(which wasn't very far)
*For the 1991 NASCAR Pontiac Grand Prix, they went half-way to the 'Template',up at a 33-degree angle 'kick' which produced a roofline-to-spoiler edge angle of 12-degrees at this point.
*The 1994 Dodge Viper Defender took their spoiler right to the 'Template' and quit there.
*The 1994 Saleen S-351 Mustang gently 'kicked' their spoiler up and back to the 'Template' and quit.
*The 1997 Dodge Viper GTS Coupe goes half-way to the 'Template' with a 'kicker' style spoiler angling up and back, generating a roofline -to -edge angle of 12-degrees.
*The 1999 GM Precept PNGV concept went half-way to the 'Template',going straight back.
*The 2001 Volkswagen new Beetle RSI racer goes a bit more than half-way to the 'Template' with a very gentle up-sweep,giving a roof to spoiler edge angle of 14.5-degrees,versus 57-degrees for the base car.
*George Poteet's "Blowfish" 1969 Plymouth Barracuda LSR car pushed his 'Bonneville' spoiler straight back, although I don't have a 'true-length image so I can't say where it ended up.He got to Cd 0.20 so it's pretty clean. It has a Gurney flap at it's rear edge, something you wouldn't need,so his drag would be lower without it.It does help safety at 255 mph though!

All these cars are worth a look, spoiler wise.
