As promised, pictures of shellarrgh.
My headache rack is raked about 1 degree as shown.

I set the saw at 4 degrees and cut the ends of the front bows. That gave me an initial 3 degree start. Probably and error on my part.

I figured, go big or go home and cut 6 more feet of bows.
I scabbed one together with screws and glue at an arbitrary location and incidence, and called it "master".
The rest were laid onto the master and glued and screwed.

And that is where the fab pics end I was too busy to take a pic. We glued and nailed a 3" wide strip of 5 MM underlayment plywood to the bows, forming a Tee section truss.
I cut a rear bulkhead, made an arbitrary arch shape, cut slots in it to accept the bows.
My neighbor came over and welded the metal parts that are plugged into the hitch. The neighbor who let me use his shop wired up the tail lights to a 7 way plug to plug into the back of the truck. Gotta give credit where it is due.
I rolled out of his shop ( got kicked out ) at 10 PM, with the framework done and no covering installed.
I covered it as stated above this morning.
Left cover is off to get to fuel filler.

160 miles in, and the plastic is beginning to lift up in a few places.

I added a few staples.

because of the rain, I sealed the plastic to the cab roof with tape. The plastic is stretching due to flex between bed and cab.

That is a most troublesome bubble, I expect it is tripping up things a bit.
