They are everywhere, like mosquitos you can't escape their brainless acts, they find the way to even most remote places.

Speed of engine indeed does not relate to speed that electricity travels, also indeed electricity of such low voltage as used in cars is not capable of jump over such distances.

Bit like my ex boss, who constantly bring up to fact that he had almost got into mensa, but had drink too much night before the test, needed his car started as it had flat battery, so we spent more than hour of office time to travel his place and use company car with wires to power his car, he there demanded that we should rev company car to near limiter so that battery would charge faster, guy did own a computer shop, but had really no any technical skill at all.

He was rather humorous guy, managed to cause customers laugh unintentionally almost daily, that was because lacking skills he had, quite lot of people visited just to have a good laugh at his expense. Even bossing was not his fote, he daily failed to understood that if he gives his friend computer servicing time first there was no way for us to keep the schedule, which probably cost him his business eventually.

He even moved his office at one point to crappy 3 story building which he called eagle's nest, then he got small dispute with local small business organization which he rented that office from and kicked owner of that building out of the building, he then quietly returned to company's building, just tells how simple minded he really was, quite low self esteem no more than average intelligence but huge need to be so much, recipe for disaster and a lot of daily annoyances.
