Get the retail price from a dealership for a brand new battery pack, and get quoted on a brake job. Then start working that guy down on his price... "This is how much its going to cost me if I get a brand new battery pack!! It's not a hybrid without it." But you don't have to explain exactly IF you are going to get that new pack.
