Great point, I don't know why I was keeping it that low. It makes sense to make the trip as long as possible to accentuate that difference and minimize effects of other inputs (error on GPS, etc). Hindsight is 20/20 I guess.
I spend the last .1 miles edging along the side of the road, waiting for the GPS to tick over, not wanting to overshoot. Bet it looked funny.
Getting excited for the trip down, ~3700 miles, should get some good numbers.
