keep up the good work. although don't drive like a grandma, that usualy doesn't do better than swift acceleration and lots of coasting (in neutral with engine on or engine off, even in gear is fine sometime). Read the 100+ hypermilling tips at the top of the page and you will learn alot. Look into getting a mpguino so you can monitor how much fuel you are using or if not then just focus on only using the gas pedal to accelerate and keep the same speed, coast every time you need to stop and you will be in the 40's
