some reading on the forums will reveal that the consensus on acceleration is to accelerate at about 80% power *briskly* they say .. the scan gauge would be invaluable in sorting out that sweet spot

i do not know about those new Z's but if i apply 80% power referencing my vacuum gauge i go up through the gears PDQ..
