I think it's quite involved. There's a whole process to verify the odometer. Then there has to be a sealed fuel cap that signed by a law enforcement officer (or similar individual). An officer also has to break the seal, and sign forms, etc.--at least that appears to be the process the Taylors went though.

At the moment I don't know if I'll go for another run at it any time soon. While I don't have Guiness World Record official "proof" that I did it, I know I did it--that's what matters to me.
