So I'm hearing that the EM website as such doesn't cache any images but always refers to the source, e.g., dropbox. I suspect that is different to/from the Profile pix.

I take 'in the editor' as the Message input form. Using Mac OSX 10.6.8 and Seamonkey 2.11; I select and copy as such:
click the Quote button and Paste
and I can already see the picture isn't going to display.
