Whos talking about getting paid?
You mentioned something that someone else did or wrote in a book..
If your in it for money and not the brotherly comradery your in the wrong place..

Everything I've contributed to on this site was because I was doing it for myself and documenting it as I go incase anyone was interested in doing the same thing or it envokes a thought of a better way for someone to do something they've thought of for their project..

This site (to me) is an info share with a common goal..

If you can't contribute and just want to whine about something..
Thats on you.. I'm not going to tug at your belt loop to get information.
If you choose to share, thats greatly appreciated..

If not, jump on someone elses thread and waste bandwidth..

waaaaaaaaaaa

I dont get any paychecks either buddy..

What is your purpose here? I'm here to contribute
and help in any way possible as well as learn how to do things..

Have you done half the things to your own vehicle that you've talked about on ecomodder or are you a web/book jocky that throws out other peoples ideas as if their a mover and a shaker in the element of which to speak of?

I could honestly care less if you design airplanes or rockets for NASA, your attitude blows..

I'm not being a jerk or wish you ill will, I'm just saying whats on my mind..

I'm a very happy go lucky person thats laid back..
Keep in mind that emotion and sarcasm don't shine through the internet as well as in person..

Everything typed in here was in fun sarcasm while drinking an ice cold Dr Pepper

If you want to further this discussion, keep it off the thread.. PM me..

Now back to our regularly scheduled modification thread..

---------------------------------------------

Today I used the Christys Red Hot BLue Glue to set all the PVC piping..

Plenty beefy..

yesterday I came up with foam campershell insulation thats sticky on one
side to install between the trailer and where the fairing is going to mount up..

This comes in a roll and is 1/4" thick x 2" wide..
I got this at home depot.. (as is most of my stuff purchased)

I'm going to get some self tapping bolts and use my pheunmatic impact to install the fairing onto the sides of the trailer..

I spaced out the "legs" of the fairing to line up with excisting panel attachment bolts so I wouldn't have to drill any additional holes in the trailer that would comprimise its resale value..

I'll be mounting the fairing within the next few days..
Then its coroplast time
Chris D,here's my situation.Back in November of 2007,MetroMPG created the Sticky Thread for aero mods which appears at the top of the Aero Forum page.In April this year,Randy-The-Hack made what I thought was a reasonable request,to post data from empirical studies and organize the material by category so that anyone wanting to do aero-mods would know what has been tried, what worked, what didn't.Ive got some data and I thought it might be usefull to the group,so I've been doing installments, breaking the data into digestible bits.Since Randy's request came first,I'm trying to honor that rather than scatter myself in a dozen directions.Whether you want to discount anything I've done is fine by me as I checked my ego at the door back in 1971.The material by others may benefit as it's from the people that "wrote the book".I regret that I was unable to assist you and will endeavor to fill in the gaps over the future.I wish you the best on your project,Sincerely,Phil Knox.
