do you have gray or black key fob?
gray means you have chryslers sentry key system; it's an add-on system that turns off the engine via spark and fuel and normally operates a relay.
there might be a fuse in that system that can be used to turn off the spark and fuel; if there is, it will probably be in the fuse box under the hood.
