Yeah so far I have been only trying to do mods that will pay for themselves.
As for the El Camino, I finally got a few high 12's under my belt. I borrowed a set of my buddies 295/50r/15, and in one night I made three back to back runs in the 12s. The fastest was 12.781 @ 106.2 mph. Since this is the aerodynamic forum, I should mention that I consistently get my best trap speed mph with the tailgate DOWN. I suspect the low roofline causes the tailgate to stick above the template line when it's up.
I'm on my blackberry, so I will switch to the desktop and start adding some pictures of my kammback this far.
