I personally would stick with anything fuel injected for the daily drivability and the prupose of having the best of both worlds in economy and a little power when you wanna romp on it.. And I personally wouldn't be scared of anything V8.
Corvettes have been known to stay in the 26-30mpg hwy with a 6spd and LSx engine... I like where this is going alot and kudos for finding such a clean car!
