15,000 annual miles.
Assuming $4/gal gas
Acura TSX = 500 gallons = $2,000
Honda CBR = 333 gallons = $1,333
I would save $667/yr in fuel to exclusively ride my motorcycle. Considering I would go through 3 rear tires and 1 front, I estimate I would spend $800/yr on tires.
For me, riding the motorcycle or taking the car is a wash financially. A more efficient motorcycle or less efficient vehicle would tilt the scales in favor of riding.

While I see what you're saying, you can't talk apples and apples when you have an orange and a kiwi.
While you may burn through 800 of tires, what would the cost be for a new set for one year on the TSX?
Let's be conservative, and say 400 a year for a set of tires on the car.
At this point, you're at a $400+/- savings. Then factor in all of the other maintenance that a car requires that a bike does not, and vice versa.
Not being argumentative, just saying. And anyway- who wouldn't want to ride everyday?! If I could I would gladly spend more on gas to ride every day (which I did on my gsxr750 {RIP}) if it meant I got to be on two wheels and out in the breeze.
