haha i couldn't think of a better thread title so meh

I know i have another thread here doing some stuff to the car but that was before i lived in a house where i could actually do things to the car!

So here's the plan... Full upper and lower grille block because it gets down to -50C here in the winter. I moved here a few months ago and installed a block heater so that's covered.

Tonight I'll be heading out to do some ABA testing of the lower grille + fog lights with painters tape before i start making something permanent.

who wants to place some bets on what i will gain doing about 100km/h? im guessing 2MPG

BTW i tested the upper grille a long time ago with some clear poly film and it gave me 1MPG (not very scientific) at hwy speeds...second pic

**EDIT**

well since this thread isnt very exciting and has no replies i thought i would just add onto this post.

this was on about an 8km stretch where i went out and back...had to throw out some results due to traffic. Bottom grille and fog lamps were covered with cardboard. No pics it was dark.

A - No Grille - 5.0L/100km - Out
A - No Grille - 5.3L/100km - Back

B - W/ Grille - 4.9L/100km - Out
B - W/ Grille - 5.0L/100km - Back

A - No Grille - 5.1L/100km - Out
A - No Grille - 5.1L/100km - Back
A - No Grille - 5.2L/100km - Out

Looks like about a 0.1-0.2 L/100km (approx 1-2MPG) change or 2-4%?

What do you guys think? not enough data to be considered accurate or does it look promising?
