Well that is part of it but I think as you pointed out that is not really a deal breaker. But the real issue for this truck it appears as though it uses the "Peak and Hold" style of fuel injectors and that makes it difficult to get a reliable signal from them.

There is a link to another thread where they were working on a resolution to this issue but most of that information went over my head and it seems as though they never really came up with anything that really worked 100%.
But I am not going to give up on getting one of these setup eventually, it is probably just not going to be super high on my priorities list for now.
