Waste a few hours looking at all the things people have done on EVAlbum and YouTube.
One comes to mind, a legally-blind fella took an electric moped and strapped a newer Honda generator onto the back fender. Not sure of his exact numbers, but it's more than capable for in-town commuting. At least as far as mopeds go.
