If you want more power then those 2.2's don't really have too many mods just normal stuff like intake exhaust. I understand where you're coming from on it if you're going to do exhaust though you'll have to keep in mind it's only a 4 cylinder You don't need some crazy 3" piping on there 2 inch to your muffler of choice wouldn't be bad and it'd make it a bit better to drive. But also like others are saying pay attention to your Aero and driving style because those will be your biggest FE improvements
